☕🍰 Air Fryer Coffee and Walnut Cake
A moist, nutty treat with bold coffee flavor—done in your air fryer!
✅ Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
½ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1½ tbsp instant coffee (dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water)
1 tsp baking powder
¼ cup chopped walnuts
Pinch of salt
For the Frosting (optional but dreamy):
½ cup butter (softened)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp instant coffee (dissolved in 1 tsp hot water)
Extra walnut halves for topping
🧁 Instructions:
Prep your air fryer:
Preheat to 320°F (160°C) for 3–5 minutes. Line a 6-inch round cake pan with parchment or lightly grease it.
Make the batter:
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Stir in the dissolved coffee.
Mix in flour, baking powder, salt, and fold in the chopped walnuts.
Pour & smooth:
Transfer the batter to your cake pan and level the top with a spatula.
Air fry:
Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan.
Make the frosting:
Beat butter and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy. Mix in the dissolved coffee.
Decorate:
Once the cake is cool, spread the frosting over the top and garnish with walnut halves.
☕ Serving Suggestion:
Serve with a cup of strong coffee or a dollop of whipped cream. It’s perfect for brunch or afternoon tea!
