š§ Cheesy Beef Pasta Skillet Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2ā3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (optional for chunkier texture)
2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow, penne, or rotini work great)
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Cook Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
Add Garlic & Seasoning
Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Liquids & Pasta
Pour in the beef broth, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes (if using). Stir in the uncooked pasta.
Simmer
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 12ā15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
Add Cheese
Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese until melted. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup on top, cover for 1ā2 minutes to melt.
Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
