🔹 Cook Time: 15–20 minutes
🔹 Total Time: 25–30 minutes
✅ Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts, halved horizontally (to make 4 thinner cutlets)
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for light coating)
2 tablespoons olive oil (or butter for richer flavor)
4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
Optional garnish: chopped parsley, sesame seeds, or green onions
🔥 Instructions:
Prep Chicken:
Halve the chicken breasts to create 4 even cutlets. Pat dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Lightly dust with flour.
Sear Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make Honey Garlic Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to low. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, just until fragrant (don’t burn!). Add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Stir to combine and simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Coat Chicken:
Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes, flipping once, until the chicken is glazed and sticky.
Serve:
Plate the chicken with extra sauce spooned on top. Garnish with parsley, sesame seeds, or green onions if desired.
🍽️ Serving Suggestions:
Serve with steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
Delicious with stir-fried greens or a crisp cucumber salad.
