Creamy Pepper Jack Chicken & Sausage Pasta
A rich, cheesy, slightly spicy one-pan pasta dish featuring halal chicken sausage and tender chicken breast in a Pepper Jack cream sauce.
📋 Ingredients:
1 lb halal chicken sausage, sliced
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
12 oz rotini or penne pasta
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups shredded Pepper Jack cheese
Salt & pepper, to taste
Optional garnish: chopped parsley or extra cheese
🔪 Instructions:
STEP 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta until al dente according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.
STEP 2: Cook the Meats
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced chicken sausage until golden. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add diced chicken breast. Cook until fully cooked through and golden brown. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
STEP 3: Build the Sauce
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream into the skillet with the chicken.
Bring to a gentle simmer, then slowly stir in the shredded Pepper Jack cheese.
Stir until smooth, creamy, and fully melted.
STEP 4: Combine Everything
Return the sausage and cooked pasta to the skillet.
Toss well to fully coat in the cheesy sauce.
Simmer for a minute or two to let everything come together.
STEP 5: Serve
Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or extra shredded cheese.
