Hearty Hamburger Meat, Corn, Potatoes, and Tomatoes Stew
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 cup potatoes, chopped into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 cup onion, diced small
1 can whole kernel corn (sweet variety preferred)
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon
1/3 cup tomato sauce
2 cups water (for a soupy consistency)
Instructions:
Brown the Beef: In a large pot or skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté the Vegetables: Add the diced onions to the pot and sauté until they become translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add Potatoes and Corn: Stir in the chopped potatoes and the can of corn (including the liquid).
Season and Simmer: Add the chicken bouillon, tomato sauce, and water to the pot. Stir well to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and cooked through.
Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve: Serve the stew hot in bowls, and enjoy your hearty meal!
Feel free to garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or a sprinkle of cheese for extra flavor!
