🛒 Ingredients

  • 1½ to 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 4 tbsp melted butter (divided)

  • 2 tbsp minced onion (optional)

  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

  • ½ tsp garlic powder or 1 large clove garlic, pressed

  • ½ tsp kosher salt

  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)

👩‍🍳 Steps to Make It

  1. Preheat the Oven
    Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the Potato Mixture
    In a large bowl, combine:

    • Sliced potatoes

    • 3 tbsp melted butter

    • Onion (if using), parsley, garlic, salt, pepper

    • Half of the Parmesan cheese
      Toss everything together to coat the potatoes thoroughly.

  3. Grease the Baking Dish
    Brush 1 tbsp melted butter over the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate (or similar baking dish).

  4. Layer and Top
    Arrange the potato mixture in the dish evenly.
    Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

  5. Bake to Golden Perfection
    Bake for 50–60 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
