🍽️ Air Fryer Cinnamon French Toast

✅ Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 4 slices of thick bread (Brioche, Texas toast, or day-old white bread work best)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/3 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for sweetness)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Butter or oil spray (for greasing)

  • Optional toppings: Maple syrup, powdered sugar, fresh berries, whipped cream, or more cinnamon sugar


🔧 Equipment

  • Air fryer

  • Shallow bowl or dish

  • Tongs or fork

  • Cooking spray or parchment paper (for easier cleanup)


🔪 Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Air Fryer

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.


Step 2: Make the Egg Mixture

In a shallow dish or bowl, whisk together:

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)

  • Pinch of salt


Step 3: Dip the Bread

  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides thoroughly.

  • Let excess drip off — don’t oversoak unless your bread is really thick or stale.


Step 4: Air Fry

  • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or use perforated parchment paper.

  • Place dipped slices in a single layer (you may need to work in batches).

  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.

🕒 Time Guide:

  • 6 minutes: lightly crisped

  • 8 minutes: golden and crisp outside, tender inside


Step 5: Serve
