2 flour tortillas (8-10 inch size)

1/2 to 3/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)
Optional Fillings:
-
Cooked chicken, steak, or ground beef (about 1/2 cup)

🍳 Instructions:
-
Preheat Air Fryer
-
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
-
-
Assemble Quesadilla
-
Lay one tortilla flat.
-
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly across the tortilla.
-
Add your choice of fillings (don’t overstuff — it can make flipping harder).
-
Add another light layer of cheese on top of the fillings (to help the top tortilla stick).
-
Place the second tortilla on top.
-
-
Secure the Quesadilla (optional)
-
Lightly press down on the quesadilla.
-
You can use toothpicks to help keep it from lifting in the air fryer, or just weigh it down slightly with the air fryer rack if you have one.
-
-
Brush the Outside (optional)
-
Brush the top with a little olive oil or melted butter for extra crispness and color.
-
-
Air Fry
-
Carefully place the quesadilla in the air fryer basket.
-
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 4–5 minutes, then flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
-
-
Cool & Slice
-
Remove and let cool for 1–2 minutes.
-
Slice into wedges with a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
-
🍽️ Serving Suggestions:
-
Serve with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or hot sauce.
-
Add a side of Mexican rice or a simple salad for a complete meal.
📝 Tips:
-
Don’t overfill the quesadilla — too much filling may cause it to split.
-
Use shredded cheese for the best melt.
-
You can also use a single tortilla folded in half (for a half-moon shape) instead of two full tortillas.
