🍄 Air-Fryer Garlic Butter Mushrooms
These Air-Fryer Garlic Butter Mushrooms are quick, savory, and perfectly tender with golden edges. Ideal as a side dish or low-carb snack.
Start with 16 oz of whole button or cremini mushrooms. Wipe them clean with a damp paper towel and trim stems if needed. If mushrooms are large, halve or quarter them for even cooking.
In a bowl, melt 3 tablespoons of butter, then stir in 3 minced garlic cloves, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Toss the mushrooms in the garlic butter mixture until evenly coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer in the basket, avoiding overcrowding. Air-fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Mushrooms are ready when they’re browned, tender, and slightly crispy on the edges.
Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with 1–2 tablespoons grated Parmesan and chopped parsley (optional). Serve hot.
For a strict carnivore version, skip the parsley and Parmesan—garlic, butter, and mushrooms alone provide bold, satisfying flavor.
These mushrooms pair perfectly with steak, eggs, or grilled chicken and are ready in under 20 minutes.
