Air Fryer Roast Beef recipe — juicy on the inside, perfectly seared on the outside, and no oven required!
🥩 Air Fryer Roast Beef
Tender, juicy, and ready in under an hour — perfect for a quick dinner or slicing for sandwiches.
🧂 Ingredients:
2–3 lb beef roast (sirloin, eye of round, or top round works well)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Prep the Roast:
Pat the roast dry with paper towels. Rub all over with olive oil, then season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs.
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Cook the Roast:
Place the roast in the air fryer basket. Cook at 390°F for 15 minutes to sear the outside.
Lower Temp & Continue Cooking:
Reduce temperature to 325°F (165°C) and cook for another 30–40 minutes, depending on desired doneness and roast size.
Use a meat thermometer:
125°F for rare
135°F for medium-rare
145°F for medium
Rest Before Slicing:
Let the roast rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
🔥 Tips:
Slice thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.
Great served with horseradish sauce, gravy, or in sandwiches.
Leftovers make excellent wraps or protein bowls!
