Cheesy Chicken Hashbrown Casserole
A creamy, cheesy, and comforting casserole perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
Main Casserole:
20 oz Frozen Hashbrowns
2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
2 cups Sour Cream
1 (10.5 oz) can Cream of Chicken Soup (or homemade equivalent)
1/2 cup Milk
1 lb Shredded Cooked Chicken
Topping:
2 cups Crushed Cornflakes
4 tbsp Melted Butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and frozen hashbrowns until well mixed.
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish, then pour the mixture in and spread evenly.
In a small bowl, combine crushed cornflakes with melted butter. Mix until cornflakes are coated.
Sprinkle the buttered cornflakes evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
