🔹 Cook Time: 6–8 hours (on low)

🔹 Total Time: 6–8 hours

✅ Ingredients:

2½–3 lbs pork baby back ribs (or spare ribs)

Salt & pepper, to taste

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp chili powder (optional, for a little kick)

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

¼ cup apple cider vinegar (helps tenderize)

½ cup water or broth

🔥 Instructions:

Prep the Ribs:

Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs if it hasn’t already been done.

Cut ribs into 3–4 rib sections to fit in the crockpot.

Season:

In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

Rub the spice mix all over the ribs.

Layer in Crockpot:

Pour water (or broth) and vinegar into the bottom of the crockpot.

Layer the ribs in the crockpot, brushing each layer with barbecue sauce as you go.

Cook:

Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3½–4 hours, until tender.

Finish (Optional but Worth It!):

Preheat your broiler.

Transfer cooked ribs to a baking sheet lined with foil. Brush with more BBQ sauce and broil for 3–5 minutes until caramelized and slightly crispy.

Serve:

Let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
