π Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)

3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

3 cloves garlic, finely minced

Juice and zest of 1 lemon

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Β½ tsp sea salt

ΒΌ tsp black pepper
-
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Lemon wedges, for serving
π’ Instructions:

Soak wooden skewers (if using) in water for 20β30 minutes to prevent burning.

In a bowl, whisk together:

Olive oil or butter

Garlic

Lemon juice and zest

Salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using)

Add shrimp to the marinade. Toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for 15β30 minutes (donβt marinate too long or the lemon juice will start cooking the shrimp).

Thread shrimp onto skewers, curling them so they sit securely.

Cook your way:

Grill: Preheat to medium-high. Grill skewers for 2β3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and opaque.

Oven: Bake at 425Β°F (220Β°C) for 8β10 minutes on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Stovetop: Sear on a hot grill pan or skillet for 2β3 mins per side.
