This dish is so savory, creamy and delightful it is almost insane! I am not sure if I even know anyone who does not like Alfredo, and this dish is super quick and easy to make.

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
- ½ pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces fettuccine, uncooked
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided in half
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
- 4 ounces Cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 cloves garlic, freshly minced
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- Salt and pepper if desired
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Cook the fettuccine to Al dente, according to package directions
Place the chicken pieces and the shrimp into a bowl and sprinkle with half the Cajun seasoning and ½ tsp garlic powder
SECOND STEP:
Add Olive Oil to a skillet and place the shrimp in
Cook for three minutes and transfer to a separate dish
Add the chicken to the skillet and cook through, about 6 to 7 minutes
Transfer the chicken to the plate with the shrimp
Remove the pan from the heat
THIRD STEP:
In the same skillet add in the butter and the cream cheese
Add in the minced garlic, cream and the remaining Cajun Seasoning
Lower the heat to medium and stir until the cream cheese is melted
FOURTH STEP:
Continue to simmer until the sauce begins to thicken, about three minutes
Stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Add the shrimp and chicken back in the skillet and stir
FIFTH STEP:
If you want slightly thinner sauce, add in a tbsp of the pasta water
Drain the noodles and add to the skillet
Squeeze and drizzle fresh lemon juice over the top
SIXTH STEP:
Garnish with additional Parmesan Cheese and chopped fresh parsley
Serve immediately
