Garlic Parmesan Knots

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Take the pizza dough out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes to make it easier to work with.
  3. Once the dough is ready, divide it into equal-sized portions. Roll each portion into a rope about 10 inches long.
  4. Tie each rope into a knot, tucking the ends underneath. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  6. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the knots, making sure to coat each one evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the knots, followed by a pinch of salt.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Once done, remove the knots from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
