Beef-Stuffed Shells with Creamy Ricotta Filling

Ingredients
12 jumbo pasta shells
1 lb ground beef
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Pasta:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
Cook the Beef Mixture:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the marinara sauce. Remove from heat.
Make the Ricotta Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Stuff the Shells:
Fill each cooled pasta shell with the ricotta mixture. Arrange the stuffed shells in a baking dish in a single layer.
Assemble the Dish:
Spoon the beef and marinara mixture evenly over the stuffed shells.
Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the top.
Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Pair with garlic bread or a crisp green salad for a complete meal.
Enjoy these hearty, cheesy beef-stuffed shells! 🍝
