Bubble-Up Pepperoni Pizza

Ingredients:
  • 1 can (8 oz) reduced-fat biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands Light Biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup turkey pepperoni (or reduced-fat pepperoni)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (choose a low-calorie or reduced-sugar variety)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Cooking spray (for greasing the pan)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare a baking dish: Lightly spray a 9×9-inch baking dish or a similar-sized casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Cut the biscuits: Open the can of reduced-fat biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Add these pieces to the prepared dish.
  • Add the toppings: Sprinkle the cut-up biscuits with garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes if using. Add the turkey pepperoni and mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Add the sauce: Pour the pizza sauce over the top of the biscuits, spreading it evenly to coat.
  • Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through, and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  • Serve: Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
Optional: Garnish with fresh basil or extra seasonings, if desired.
