• 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Sauce:
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup chicken broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme
• 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season & Sear:
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chops 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
2. Prepare Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Sauté chopped onion until translucent, then add minced garlic for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, thyme, and rosemary.
- Simmer until sauce thickens (5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
3. Combine & Serve:
- Return pork chops to the skillet, spooning sauce over them.
- Let simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

- Even Thickness: Ensure pork chops are uniformly thick for consistent cooking.
- Add-Ins: Incorporate mushrooms or spinach into the sauce for extra flavor.
