Creamy Garlic Chicken Recipes

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


  1. Season the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Sear the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

  5. Add Chicken Back to Skillet:
    • Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet and nestle them into the sauce.
    • Spoon some of the sauce over the chicken breasts to coat them.
  6. Finish Cooking:
    • Cover the skillet and let the chicken cook in the sauce for another 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Add Parmesan Cheese:
    • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken breasts and sauce. Let it melt into the sauce.
  8. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
    • Serve the creamy garlic chicken hot over cooked pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, if desired.
