🥑 Gourmet Avocado Toast with Feta, Tomatoes & Walnuts
Ingredients (1 serving)
1 slice of good-quality bread (sourdough or multigrain works great)
1 ripe avocado
¼ cup cherry tomatoes (halved or whole)
2–3 tbsp crumbled feta cheese
1–2 tbsp walnuts
1 tbsp dried cranberries
Fresh basil leaves
1–2 tsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional: lemon juice, chili flakes, balsamic glaze
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1. Toast the bread
Toast your bread slice until golden and crisp.
2. Mash the avocado
In a bowl, mash the avocado with a pinch of salt, pepper, and optionally a squeeze of lemon.
Spread it evenly over the toast.
3. Add toppings
Layer on:
Cherry tomatoes
Crumbled feta
Walnuts
Dried cranberries
Fresh basil leaves
4. Drizzle
Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and a little black pepper.
(Chili flakes or balsamic glaze are delicious add-ons.)
