1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 can (16 oz) refried beans
1 cup sour cream
1 cup guacamole
1 cup of sauce
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions:
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning according to package directions.
Spread the refried beans in an even layer on the bottom of a large serving platter.
Place the seasoned ground beef over the refried beans.
Spread sour cream over ground beef.
Add a layer of guacamole over the sour cream.
Pour the sauce evenly over the guacamole.
Sprinkle shredded lettuce on top of the sauce, followed by shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped green onions.
Grades:
Serve with tortilla chips for dipping or as a side.
You can customize the layers with your favorite taco toppings, like jalapeños or corn.
