Ingredients:
1 teaspoon oil
1 pound pizza dough
1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
⅓ pound Italian sausage
⅓ cup pepperoni, diced
⅔ cups pizza sauce
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions:
Prepare Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Using a small amount of oil, lightly grease only the bottom of a 9-inch round cake pan to prevent sticking.
Form the Pizza Base: Take the pizza dough and press it evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan, creating a thick outer crust.
Layer the Ingredients: Begin by sprinkling 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese onto the dough. Distribute the raw Italian sausage evenly over the cheese, followed by the diced pepperoni. Spread the pizza sauce over the top of the meat.
Add Cheese Topping: Finish by adding the remaining mozzarella and the grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
Bake the Pizza: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until the crust turns a deep golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Serve and Enjoy: Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
