State Fair Lemonade

Ingredients
For the Lemonade:
4 large lemons, juiced (about 1 cup juice)
½ cup granulated sugar
3 cups cold water
1 cup ice cubes
For Garnish:
Lemon slices
Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Lemonade Base:
• Roll lemons on the counter to soften, then cut in half and juice them.
• Strain the juice to remove seeds, keeping some pulp if desired.
• In a large pitcher, combine fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar.
• Stir vigorously until sugar fully dissolves.
Add Water & Ice:
• Pour in cold water and mix well.
• Add ice cubes and stir until the lemonade is chilled.
Garnish & Serve:
• Pour into a tall glass with extra ice.
• Garnish with fresh lemon slices and optional mint leaves.
