Ingredients:
- 1 Angel Food Cake, already made (look for a low-fat or sugar-free option)
- 1 ½ cups strawberries, finely diced
- ¼ cup sugar substitute (such as Stevia or erythritol)
- 1 carton of fat-free or low-fat whipped topping, beaten until peaks form
- 10 small strawberries, whole, with stems removed
Instructions:
FIRST STEP:
- Arrange 6 shooter glasses or smaller juice glasses on the counter.
- Slice the Angel Food Cake and then cut it into cubes.
SECOND STEP: 3. Combine the diced strawberries with the sugar substitute and stir. Let it sit for a few minutes and stir again.
- Place a few cubes of the cake into the bottom of each glass.
THIRD STEP: 5. Spoon a heaping spoon of the diced strawberries on top of the cake.
- Place more cubed cake on top of the strawberries.
FOURTH STEP: 7. Add another layer of diced strawberries.
- Top with a generous dollop of fat-free or low-fat whipped topping.
FINAL TOUCH: 9. In the center of the whipped topping, place a whole strawberry that has been sliced halfway up to fan it out.
