🌮 WW Taco Wontons
Crispy, cheesy, taco-flavored bites that make the perfect snack, appetizer, or light meal — all for just 4 Smart Points each!
🧀 Ingredients (Makes ~12 wontons):
1/2 lb lean ground turkey or beef (93% lean or higher)
1/2 packet low-sodium taco seasoning
1/4 cup salsa
1/2 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
12 wonton wrappers
Optional: chopped green onions, cilantro, or a dollop of nonfat Greek yogurt
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
Cook the filling: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the meat. Drain any fat. Add taco seasoning and salsa. Cook until thickened and combined.
Assemble wontons: Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. Fill with a spoonful of meat mixture and top with a bit of cheese.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges of the wontons are golden and crispy.
Garnish & serve: Top with green onions or a little Greek yogurt if desired. Serve warm!
