🌬️ Air Fryer Cheesy Hasselback Potatoes

“Crispy on the Outside, Cheesy in the Middle, Ready in a Fraction of the Time”

Ingredients:

2–4 medium potatoes (russet or Yukon Gold work best)

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

¾ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

Instructions:

Prepare the potatoes:

Wash and scrub the potatoes clean.

Using two chopsticks or wooden spoons as a guide, slice the potatoes thinly (about ⅛–¼ inch), stopping before cutting all the way through.

Season:

Mix olive oil or butter with garlic, salt, and pepper.

Brush or drizzle generously over the potatoes, making sure to get between the slices.

Air fry:

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20–25 minutes, or until they begin to fan out and soften.

Add cheese:

Carefully open the slices and tuck in shredded cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan if using.

Return to the air fryer for 5–8 more minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are crisp.

Garnish and serve:

Sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve hot!
