CAKE:
- 1 pkg. sugar-free white cake mix (2 layers)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup fat-free sour cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (21 oz) can no-sugar-added apple pie filling
GLAZE:
- 1 cup powdered sugar substitute
- 1-1 1/2 Tbsp. unsweetened almond milk or skim milk
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar-free cake mix, ground cinnamon, fat-free sour cream, eggs, and water. Mix with a mixer until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Spoon the no-sugar-added apple pie filling on top of the batter, covering the entire surface.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar substitute and almond milk to create the glaze.
- Once the cake has cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
