baked garlic parmesan potato

  • 4 large potatoes, washed and scrubbed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the potatoes into wedges or cubes, depending on your preference.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, dried rosemary, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Add the potato wedges or cubes to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the garlic Parmesan mixture.
  5. Place the coated potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not crowded.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Flip the potatoes halfway through the baking time to ensure even cooking.
  7. Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with additional grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
  8. Serve the baked garlic Parmesan potatoes hot as a side dish to complement your main course.
