2 cups old-fashioned oats

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 3/4 cups unsweetened almond milk (or skim milk)

1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce

1 egg (or 1/4 cup egg whites for lower points)

1/4 cup zero-calorie sweetener (e.g., monk fruit, stevia)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp almond extract (optional but recommended)

1 cup pitted chopped cherries (fresh or frozen, thawed & drained)

2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate

Preheat Oven:
