• 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of water (adjust to achieve desired consistency)


  • In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and honey (if using) until well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Slowly whisk in water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency. You may need more or less water depending on how thick you like your dressing.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Store the dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
