Chocolate Frosty Delight


  • 1 cup of non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana, frozen
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons of your preferred sweetener (such as stevia, honey, or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker consistency)
  • Optional toppings: sliced strawberries, raspberries, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder


  1. Start by freezing the ripe banana. Peel the banana, cut it into chunks, and place it in a freezer bag or container. Let it freeze for at least a few hours or overnight.
  2. Once the banana is frozen, take it out of the freezer and let it sit for a couple of minutes to slightly soften.
  3. In a blender, combine the frozen banana chunks, non-fat Greek yogurt, unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetener of your choice, and vanilla extract.
  4. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can add a handful of ice cubes and blend again until incorporated.
  5. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more sweetener.
  6. Once you’ve achieved the desired consistency and taste, pour the Chocolate Frosty Delight into serving glasses.
  7. If desired, top each serving with sliced strawberries, raspberries, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for extra flavor and decoration.
