Three Ingredient Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes


  • 1 box Pillsbury zero sugar moist supreme Devil’s food premium cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 20 oz. can of no sugar cherry pie filling


  1. followed the cake box direction. I substituted 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce for the 1/2 cup of oil. divided between 12 cupcakes and with the leftover batter I just made a cake. I spoon three cherries a piece on each cupcake and with the rest of the cherries I poured in the bottom of the pan and pour the batter on top. Bake for about 20 minutes at 350 toothpick came out clean.

This recipe makes 24 servings! 12 cupcakes and 12 slices of cake! each serving is 2 points. Optional add 1 tbsp fat free sugar free whipped topping for one point
