Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf😎

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef (at least 90% lean)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup fat-free milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded provolone cheese, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and the cooked vegetables. Mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray. Transfer the meatloaf mixture into the pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and browned on top.
  6. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve slices of the Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or a side salad.
